Theatre The show got great press from everyone and well done to you, cast and crew. I saw it on Saturday and Bouncers was a cracker. Fast, clear, wicked, humane. The choreography worked and movement between characterisation and the sexes was ace. I laughed a lot. Rose Rushe, Journalist with the Limerick Post.

Bouncers Bursting with imagination and wit and presented by just four actors, Bouncers is an outrageous and hilarious parody of the nightclub scene. The four brutish bouncers of the title portray over twenty different characters as we are invited for a night out on the town. We see them as giggly girls and lads on the make preparing for the big night out as we follow their progress to the dance floor. There, we also meet an entire cross-section of revellers, including Hooray Henrys, pogoing punks and drunken slobs! The evening's events are set against the tatty glitzy glamour, flashing lights and pulsating beat of the nightclub scene. Cast: David Collins, Pius McGrath, Stefan Barry, Zeb Moore. One for all the family, suitable from age 8 and up.
MONSTER/CLOCK: A Play on Time is an exciting new piece of musical puppet theatre developed by Collapsing Horse Theatre Company. It expounds the life of Toby, a castigated monster and apprentice watchmaker, who finds his world blown apart by a raid on his workshop, and the kidnapping of his mentor and guardian. He is forced to flee from the safety of his desk into the vast steampunk fantasy world that awaits him outside his door. In so doing, Toby discovers that there are many more hands at work than he suspected, and he may be but a cog in the grand nefarious machinations of his mysterious assailant. Through puppetry, music and heaps of comedy, MONSTER/CLOCK explores self-discovery and the passage of time, leaving us to wonder if it’s truly on our hero’s side. Starring: Kate Kennedy, Jack Gleeson (Game of Thrones), Rachel Gleeson, Aaron Heffernan, Eoghan Quinn and Matthew Smyth. Wither follows the lives of a family struggling to care for their mother who is suffering from dementia. The story is told in a humorous and poignant way allowing the audience to truly understand the impact this horrific disease has on everyone it touches. Isobel, a once vibrant woman, is now a mere shadow of her former self. She lives with her son Finbar and his family. Pushed to the edge Finbar is barely coping and his wife Bernadette becomes the primary care-taker. Their teenage son has become lost in the chaos. Isobel’s other children Patricia and Dennis view the situation from their own homes. Patricia has always had a difficult relationship with her mother and now finds herself unable to put the past behind her despite time running out. Dennis is the impartial onlooker who is so removed from the truth of the situation that he becomes the voice of morality, but not of reality.
